I’ve been drawing since before I could spell.  I attended the University of Utah. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, I now live in Brooklyn, New York.  With my art, I try to describe the outside world as it looks to me, and the inside world as it would look to you.  Genetics, evolution, and ancient symbolism have been recurring themes in my career.

Kirk Morgenegg

 

sculptor/artist previously lived in Arizona and Colorado. Currently living in New York City for the past ten years. Kirk gained his appreciation for nature living in Colorado. This is also where he began and cultivated his brand design Angel Cheeks. Angel Cheeks had large success in the mass market/gift industry.

 

New York is where his fascination with urban living began. This is where he started his recent project "Orb". "Orb has been a project that incorporates the look of something organic and natural with urban materials such as cement" says Kirk.

 

Kirk works in mixed media using cement, glass, metal foil. He also uses lighting and water to create an amazing mood. Using a wide variety of materials Kirk has put together a unique collection of sculptures that most every observer can truly connect to the idea Absorb the Orb!

Florence Wint

(1928)- USA

Florence Wint was born in 1928 in Newark, NJ and now lives in Maplewood, NJ. She studied art at New York University and has an MFA from Columbia University, NY. She also studied at The Art Students League, NY and is an Alumnii of Pratt University, NY. Florence also taught at Greenwich House Pottery, NY for 25 years.

She was Artist in Residence for Ceramic Sculpture at Artpark, Lewiston, NY and was included in “Twenty Americans in Clay” - a multi visual sound production which travelled throughout Europe. Her etchings illustrate the storybook "Cowboy Ed" by Bill Grossman Published by Harper Collins. Florence is also a member of NAWA

Florence's work has featured in well over 200 group shows throughout New York and New Jersey. Some career highlights include museum shows in Poughkeepsie, NY, Bergen Museum, NJ, Grounds for Sculpture, NJ and a solo ceramic show at Gaelen Gallery East, West Orange NJ. 

Wint's work features in the Noyes Museum collection and in many corporate collections, including Exxon, Johnson & Johnson and Bristol Meyers Squibb, as well as being enjoyed in many private collections throughout the United States and Europe. She was awarded a Fellowship Grant in 2002 by NJ Council of the Arts.

I believe creating art is the translation of the subjective unconsciousness onto a physical plane- no matter how aloof the abstraction is, there always is a birth place whether it is pretty or not.. the dictation is made regardless. my work often tells me how i feel. physically answering "why" to what i cannot emotionally interpret. i started off as a poet, in love with being able to say the most with least possible space consumed. the precision was pure and the abstraction, limitless. then the spontaneity of photography hooked me.now, it is the observed time-process of painting. often seemingly monochromatic, or simple at a distance. if then, the simplicity has properly seduced into an intimate viewing- you find a true abyss... colors you never thought there before and intricate chaos within a large tranquil screen.. it is called life. those details are called experience. these gestural interactions are private, yet reveal themselves eagerly to those interested, promised to never end up in the same space twice.
